Question 1

Do you promise an arrival time?

Accepted Answer

Essential, at RM4,500 a month, does not include a written arrival time. We look at the server on the monthly visit, and when you call. Standard, at RM6,500 a month, is the faster-response plan. If the server is down right now, use the emergency page.

Question 2

Why shouldn't I just buy a cheap NAS for my company files?

Accepted Answer

A home NAS is fine for photos at home. On a factory server, one cheap disk is often the only copy of AutoCount or the accounts. Essential, at RM4,500 a month, includes a restore test so you know a file can be opened.

Question 3

My current IT vendor says my 5-year-old server must be replaced immediately. Is this true?

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily. We often find that old servers simply need targeted upgrades (like replacing failing SAS drives with SSDs) or a proper clean-up. We always recommend a diagnostic assessment before spending RM30,000+ on a full replacement.

Question 4

What is included in the RM4,500 a month plan?

Accepted Answer

Essential is RM4,500 a month. It covers server health checks, RAID monitoring, patching, and a restore test of the backup. It is a monthly plan, not a one-time visit. More servers or a tighter response time moves the fee up. The free assessment decides which tier fits.

Question 5

Can you support our specific ERP system?

Accepted Answer

We look after the server that runs AutoCount, SQL Accounting, or Sage. We do not change the software itself. Essential, at RM4,500 a month, is that server: a health check, patches, RAID, and a restore test.
